Nectar Image Block Icon

The image block allows you to add an image to your page. You can choose from any of the images you have uploaded to your media library, upload a new image, or use the built-in option to search and insert an image from Unsplash (see Using images from Unsplash below).

Using images from Unsplash​

When adding or editing an Image block, you can search and insert photos from Unsplash instead of (or in addition to) your media library. Use the image selector in the block to access this option, then search by keyword and choose an image to insert. The image is added to your page in the same way as other images.

License and attribution. Images available through this feature are provided by Unsplash under the Unsplash License. You are responsible for complying with that license and with Unsplash’s terms for the way you use the images. The Unsplash License allows free use for commercial and non-commercial purposes; attribution is not required but is appreciated by photographers (e.g. “Photo by [Photographer Name] on Unsplash”). When in doubt, check Unsplash’s current license and terms for your use case.

General settings​

  • Image Allows you to select an image to display.
  • Title The text which will be used for the Title attribute of the image.
  • Alt Text The text which will be used for the Alt Text attribute of the image.
  • Resolution The resolution of the image. This will be used to determine the size of the image when displayed on the page. All registered WordPress image sizes will be available to choose from.
  • Image Ratio Allows you to set the ratio of the image. This will be used to determine the size of the image when displayed on the page.
  • Alignment The alignment of the image.
